Vain Creature
She looked at me, no, through me. Staring at her reflection, touching every fine line on her face caused by age and worry. She untied her long red hair that fell above her small round buttocks. She took off her clothes, looking through me once again and she began to cry while staring at her soft stomach and sagging breasts. She put her hands on her breasts and muttered under her breath, "Perhaps I need to get a boob job." She was very skinny, though she always felt like she needed to lose more weight which was her skin hanging loosely on her bones. He ribs were visible. It saddens me, what she's done to herself. She skipped most meals throughout the day and always tried to throw up everything that she ate. She's the most gorgeous being who's ever entered this room we stand in. She had a perfect smile, she was adored by all around her and she even had a beautiful soul. What more could she want? Does it even matter when she recieves compliments from hungry men and envious women? I'm right in front of her. What does she see when she looks through me? If I told her that I loved her, it wouldn't matter. Only she, herself could set her free. Who am I to say these things? I'm just the mirror on the wall.
