Thank you for clicking on my story and wanting to give it a chance!
Before we get started, I want to say a few things.
First: I have no clue how the mafia works. I've done as much research as the internet will let me do without having the FBI knocking at my door, lmao. So, everything I write comes from my imagination and a few details I've read online.
Second: As always, I only write happy endings, so no matter how angry we may get or sad, know that I will never write a sad ending. Would probably rip my heart out first, lmao.
Third: Most of you follow me for the smut, so I really hope I can deliver, which means that there will be explicit content! I'll try to warn you of those as they come.
Fourth: This is a Mafia romance so there will be some dark scenes later on in the story. Elio and Karina will be the type of characters that have no problems getting their hands dirty. If you read my story Au Pair you may notice some similarities in the relationship between Elio & Karina. There's just something so delicious about a couple that's a ride or die haha.
Fifth: I am currently in my final semester of university. I write stories to de-stress and step away from my hectic schedule. This semester has been incredibly stressful which is probably why my brain is creating so many stories - dissociating is how I live y'all lmao - so, with that being said, the updates on this story won't be quick.
Sixth: Though Inkitt has been kind of cool lately, it doesn't notify us of anything (which I hope they work on eventually!) so how would you guys like me to tell you when I've updated? Would you want me to send something out on social media or just see the updates whenever you're on the app? Instagram, Twitter, TikTok - whatever y'all suggest, I'll get it :) I'm open to all suggestions!
