Get Your Hands Off My Woman

“Okay, okay, how about, 'I wish I had died before I had ever loved anyone but her.'"

I raised an eyebrow at the playfulness in my boyfriend’s voice, “Hemingway.”

Josiah’s eyes peeked over the textbook taking up half his face, “How do you do that? It’s like you’ve memorized every quote in this thing.”

“Oh, that’s just because I’m not like the other girls.” I teased before leaning to the opposite side of his bed. It was well past midnight, and I still had a long night of studying ahead of me.

“Seriously,” He threw the book down on the floor with little consideration for the people below us, “I struggle to keep my lines straight.”

I crawled closer to him, ignoring the blanket twisting around my legs as I moved, “Well maybe if you did a little more studying and a little less…”

He pulled me in, “Less what? This?” Josiah pressed his lips to mine and dropped his hand to my throat. His fingers waited gently around my neck while I began to press myself into him. He groaned and pushed me away just long enough to taunt me, “I thought you wanted to study more.”

“I’ll multitask,” I replied with a delirious grin forming on my vacant lips. That was how we spent most nights, curled up in one of our dorms and praying our roommates wouldn’t snitch on our cohabitation. Josiah ran his fingers through my loose blonde waves, seemingly as mesmerized as the first night we spent together.

His hand traveled to the back of my head and then, his grip tightened. “I have a better idea.”

Before I could react, he grabbed my waist and flipped us onto the bed. My legs, still tangled, were trapped underneath him. I stared up and tried to act surprised. “I like the way you think.”

Josiah’s mouth found mine and captivated me with bouts of kissing that left me breathless; I pulled him closer. A moan fell off my lips as he traveled down my neck, leaving bite marks wherever he chose. When he was satisfied he kissed my cheek and let his breath trail over me, “Yeah, well, I like the way you moan.”

I fake-gagged and pretended to roll away. I didn’t get far before his grip was on me again and another smile was forcing its way onto my lips.

His hair was messy. The kind of messy it got at night when we were too busy attacking each other to care about appearances. I took pride in being the only one who witnessed him with hair going in every which way and thick-framed glasses that he loathed wearing out in public.

Meanwhile, I let my guard down, just enough to tell him about my family woes and uneventful online tryst with an anonymous–lover? However, I never failed to stop sharing just before revealing the identity of Eliot. That knowledge was mine and mine alone.

Much to his annoyance.

Still, when I was pinned under his grip and staring into his eyes, it was hard to imagine that there could ever be anything between us.

“You should kiss me again,”

“You’re in no position to make demands.”

I scrunched my nose, “Don’t be cruel, baby.”

“You were cruel this morning.” He pushed his hips into me and earned another whimper.

“I had class.”

“Could’ve skipped.”

“Should’ve been more persuasive.”

“Like this?” He pulled the blanket away from my legs and spread them without a second thought. The soft kisses on my thighs left goosebumps in their wake; I tangled my fingers into his hair and guided him over my exposed skin.

I nodded while suppressing the urge to arch my back and trap him between my legs. As his touch traveled up from my lower body, I began to wish that I hadn’t run out so fast in the morning. I left my bra and midday snack buried somewhere under our shared textbook pile anyway.

Plus, after my walk in the chilly 7 AM weather, I was certain my Algebra professor would never see me the same.

When his kisses reached the lace edge of my underwear, I sighed in anticipation.

“Excited?”

“Shut up.”

Josiah bit the center of my panties and skimmed my clit with his teeth. I gasped despite my attempts not to encourage him. “Want to say that again?”

I bit the inside of my cheek; backing down wasn’t my usual move but I craved his touch more with each passing second.

He nodded after I remained silent, “I thought so.”

“If you want an award for how frustrated you can get me,” I groaned at the sensation of his tongue against me; there was only thin cotton fabric in the way of my pleasure and I couldn’t help but squirm. “You win.”

I felt him grin and then continue on his mission. He made small circles around my clit and dug his fingers into my hips; holding me into place. Fuck.

“Baby,” I fought against his hold on me to no avail. “Please.”

“You know I would,” Josiah wrapped his hands around the curves of my body and pulled me further into his madness, “but someone,” He pressed his tongue against my clit and waited for me to writhe underneath him and then continued talking, “Has class early again in the morning.”

He positioned himself over me and traced his thumb over my lips. Arguing would be no good, I knew because I had tried many times over the past few months, but persuasion was in the cards. I took his thumb into my mouth and sucked on it gently. His eyes widened.

Before I could ask for more, his index and middle fingers were filling my mouth. I let them fall to the back of my throat before tightening my lips around them and watching his brain go into overdrive.

He leaned down to my ear, with his fingers pushing farther down my throat than they ever have, and whispered, “If you don’t behave yourself I’ll have no choice but to fuck this mouth.”

Tears stung my eyes as I struggled not to gag; a moment longer and I may have lost the illusion of sexual prowess to a couple of fingers. He removed them and distracted me with kisses down my neck.

I let my eyes shut as his touch wandered down my abdomen, underneath the elastic of my underwear, over my clit, and earned another moan before slipping two fingers inside without resistance.

I whined and bucked my hips just so I could speed up his pace. The steady motions were making me ache for him. Unfortunately, he knew that.

“What’s wrong, darling?” He acted innocent as if he wasn’t knuckle-deep in my-, “Want me to go faster?”

I nodded, unwilling to give him the pleasure of hearing my voice shake.

“Say it.”

My grip tightened on the bedsheets as I stared him down. His slow invasion melted all my other thoughts away except for, “faster.” I asked before I could stop myself; Clinging to the fantasy of Josiah tying my hands above my head and telling me what to do.

We had never made it that far.

He always gave in and I loved him for it. I needed it. I counted on his certain touch and cocky expression while I bent my will to his.

I sucked in a breath as he stroked me. He pressed his thumb against the most sensitive spot on my body and marveled at my reaction. I longed to end the teasing and launch a hostile takeover; I focused my attention on his belt. While slipping it through the loops of his pants, I pulled him in.

He murmured something that sounded like my name before I continued. When his belt was off and all the buttons were undone, the rest of our clothes came off in a flurry of hands and drawn-out kisses.

His teeth sunk into my collarbone and I yelped. The fear of being too loud disappeared from my thoughts as Josiah guided my hands to his cock; he muffled my whimpers with his mouth and I ran my tongue over his bottom lip, deepening our kiss.

Josiah aligned his hips with mine and seized my chest in his tight grip. Finally. I secured my legs around his waist and guided him where I needed him the most.

My lips parted, freeing a soft moan of satisfaction as he entered me. The width of his cock stretched me in a way that I never wanted to forget and motivated my nails to dig into his back.

Just before he could bottom out and fill me in the most mind-melting way, the fire alarm blared above us.

We made eye contact. You’ve got to be kidding me.

Josiah pulled out much to my disappointment. I pouted my bottom lip.

“Don’t give me that look,” He laughed while pulling on his shirt, “The building could be on fire.”

The little voice in the back of my head wanted to risk it. I stared at his cock as he put it away--it would be worth it too.

He tossed my forsaken clothes on top of me. “Do you want to burn to death?”

I sighed, “Without your dick?” I laid my hand over my forehead and feigned despair, “I might.”

He rolled his eyes but couldn’t hide the grin on his face, “So dramatic.”

I mocked his expression and pulled on my shirt. Before I was fully dressed, Josiah was at the door. He leaned on the doorpost and eye-balled me as I struggled to slip on my sweatpants.

“What?” I asked.

He shrugged, “I was just thinking that burning alive might be worth it.” I rolled my eyes and he continued, “What? It could just be a fire drill.”

“After midnight?”

Josiah walked over to me and pulled me in by my waist. “It could happen.”

“Sure, my love.” I leaned in and kissed his cheek with another obnoxious smile forming on my lips. I weaved my fingers through his and led him through the door. Before we could make it out of the dorm, his roommate stepped out of his room.

He nodded at Josiah and me with exhaustion in his eyes.

“Did the alarm wake you up?” Josiah asked with a light laugh. Parker, his roommate, stood in front of his door in stained PJs. The tight line of his lips told me that he was not amused.

“No.” He frowned, “It wasn’t the alarm.” His eyes bore into mine accusingly and heat rushed to my cheeks. Whoops.

Before Parker could put me on trial for disturbing his slumber, I cleared my throat. “They’re going to be checking that everyone made it out of the building soon. We should go.”

Josiah took little convincing and followed me out the front door. Parker was on our heels but refused to walk alongside us. He made himself scarce when I was around.

The hallways were barren; most of the residents had long since evacuated. I wouldn’t be surprised if we were the last group to leave the building. When we reached the exit, a golden shirt RA blocked the doorway.

He turned around as we walked closer. Shit. My grip tightened around Josiah’s hand; He glanced at me in confusion before addressing the RA whom I hadn’t spoken to in months.

“Running late?” Drew asked with an easy smile. I swallowed and watched the gears turn in Josiah’s head.

He ran his thumb over the back of my hand, “Yeah, we were a little distracted.”

My eyes snapped back to my boyfriend.

If Drew understood what Josiah was insinuating, it certainly didn’t bother him. And for some reason that I wasn’t proud of, that disappointed me.

“Right.” He nodded without giving me a second glance. I scoffed at his indifference.

I hate him.

Finally, I caught his attention. “Hey, Cass.” My jaw locked at his nonchalant greeting.

Now I really hate him.

I nodded, afraid that if I opened my mouth only hellfire would spew out. Drew stepped aside, fully content with his life, and watched us exit.

“Was that-” Josiah asked as soon as we were out of earshot.

I stared straight ahead, into the crowd of residents and away from Drew. “Yep.”
