Prologue
Walking through the halls of the palace has always been fun. Being able to watch the sunrise, the sunset. To see, even if distant, the forests surrounding the kingdom for all its extension. Various people walking, running, working, laughing, talking. It was pure life. It was my life. Or rather, what was a part of it. That night, however, would go beyond the halls of the palace. The grandiose and imposing dining room would be the stage of a very special moment. After all, we were all together again. After so many months traveling, my brothers had finally returned. The entire family was filled with joy. As well as the palace, the people and our closest friends. That would be a night of celebration. A dinner between two friendly families.
As the time approached, I hurried down the halls to the event of the night. Upon arriving there, I came across extremely united people, who exuded gratitude. That was heartwarming, especially after the last few months, which had been intense. I could also say it was a victory, not only for me, but for all those present, who carried the marks of recent events in their memory.
On that night, it didn’t matter which family we belonged to, whether Guapeva or Castelli, nor which kingdom, whether Jasper or Tourmaline. Everyone was united among themselves, as a family, enjoying that harmonious night. My parents, King Isaac and Queen Sarah, were overjoyed. They said that just by being able to see all their children together, they were already satisfied, there was no need for any celebration to happen. This was visible, both for me, Anna, and for my siblings Thiago, Arthur and Eva. Similarly, the Tourmaline monarchs, Hector and Helena, seemed exceptionally united. Surprisingly, Helena didn’t talk much, but her eyes could easily expose her gratitude for being there with her family and friends. Their children showed the same. Hugo, Alice and Joana seemed more united than ever. All of this, without even having to say a single word.
