Chapter 1

"Name?" Asked the guard as he checked my luggage.

I was getting on the airplane to fly to back to my hometown in Korea, a city called Yongin.

"Seong-ho Sang-Hun." I answered.

"Go forward." He said, checking me off the list for flights, and I nodded to him and stepped onto the plane.

I sighed and put my bag in the overhead compartment, and sat down in my seat, right next to a man.

I got out my computer and put the tray table down, writing on the computer.

I was a young, inspiring writer, I had a few books published, and I was working on my sixth, a book called Night of the Guardian, I was only a quarter way into it, and I needed to get to half by Thursday, which is in two days.

"What'cha writing?" Asked the man next to me, and I glanced at him.

He had dark hair, a nice smile, yellow eyes, and a nice build, his 6-pack stretched against his tight turtle-neck, and he had his legs crossed, like a rich guy, he was also the type of guy that girls dreamed about marrying one day.

I blushed a little as I returned back to my work.

"Oh, just another story I'm working on." I told him, not looking his way.

"Oh? Another story? So your a writer..?" He asked, putting his head on his hand and looking at me curiously.

"Yeah." I said shyly, typing a few more words in the book, and then looking back at him.

"Hmm.. Have you published anything?" He asked.

"Yeah, a few books." I said.

"Like what?" He asked.

You told him the books that you had published and starting diving into a whole world of your own, and it took a while to finally realize that one of the flight attendants was shaking me to get me to put up my tray table.

"Oh! I'm sorry.." I said, embarrassed as I put my tray table up, putting my computer back into my carry-on backpack.

"It's alright sir." Said the flight attendant, slightly annoyed that it had taken so long to finally listen.

"I see, your a very dedicated writer," The man said, "I'm Ye-jun Su-Hyeon."

"I'm Seong-ho Sang-Hun." I answered, and felt my stomach drop as the plane took off.

Ye-Jun laughed as I gasped, "You never been on the plane before?" He asked cheekily.

"I have been, it's just.. hard every time." I laughed nervously.

"I see.." He said, and then looked at his phone as a ring sounded from it.

"Girlfriend?" I asked cheekily.

"No, work, will you excuse me for a moment?" He asked, standing up, and I nodded, getting up to let him out.

I sat back down as he walked down the aisle to the bathroom, and I put my tray table down to work on my story as the plane settled in the air.

After a few minutes later, Ye-Jun came back, and I put my tray table back up as I got up.

He sighed as he sat down, rubbing his temples.

"You alright?" I asked.

"Yeah, work is exhausting, y'know?" Ye-Jun smiled grimly, and i nodded.

"I definitely get it." I didn't say anything else, instead pulling out my computer and sticking my headphones in to listen to music.

For the rest of the plane ride, I worked on my book, with Je-Jun's cool yellow eyes on me the whole time, watching my every move.
