Chapter 1: escape plan
"Love, I'm home", Delilah's husband, Jack calls. He walks upstairs to find Delilah curling her hair for the family dinner later tonight. As she hears him her heart starts pumping faster and faster as he approaches their room. Her anxiety kicks in as she hears him outside the room. She takes a deep breath in...and out and whispers to herself "calm down, don't let him know". Suddenly he knockes on her door. Anxiously but calmly she answers, "come in". He walkes into the room and gives her a soft smile."You look ravishing tonight", Jack says to Delilah. "Thanks", she answers back as she's done curling her hair and puts the curler away and walks into the walk-in closet. Jack waits patiently for Delilah as she changes into her dress. She finally walks out with a tight black dress, hugging her curves and black stilettos. He smirks as he sees the beautiful woman standing in front of him. He slowly walkes over to her and places his hands on her hips, one of his hands start gliding up her body as the other stayed on her hip. His hand reached her face, he takes her chin in his fingers and looks deep in her eyes. Her heart started to speed up as fear took over her body, she looked deep in his eyes and saw an unhinged look in his eyes. He suddenly kisses her slowly and passionately then pulls away, he whisper in her ear, "do not screw up tonight", he said in an unhinged manner. She slowly nods her head in fear that he might hurt her if she doesn't do what he says. "Good girl" he whispers in her ear then walks out of the room.
As soon as he walkes out of the room she wipes a small tear that started rolling down her face and walkes into the bathroom to clean herself up, before the guests came. After cleaning herself up she walked downstairs of the mansion and into the the kitchen to start cooking a huge meal for the family dinner.
After a while, the guests started showing up. There were at least 30- 40 people who were members of the family. Delilah started to set the table as the other people were talking in the kitchen, living room and game room. After a few hours everyone was called to the dining room, it was a very big room with a big table to seat 40 people. The people sat down and started eating and laughing at each other's jokes, but there was someone unusual, Jack's brother, Jonah...he was staring at Delilah for quite some time, with the same cold and unhinged look as Jack's. He slowly started to walk up to Delilah, who was standing in the kitchen and drinking some whine. Jonah walked up behind her and whisper in her ear ,"careful of my brother, sweetheart...he can get *really* crazy if he wanted to", as she was about to confront him, he walks away, not even taking a second glance. Delilah knows how crazy Jack can get...but she can't help but wonder, "why would Jonah say that"...She just shrugged it off and went back to drinking her wine.
Later that night, when everyone left and Jack was asleep, she went over to the spare room and opened a secret save, that not even Jack knew about. She threw all of the money that she have been saving in a bag with a few clothes, shoes and other items. She disabled the alarm and went to the garage, started her car and drove off to the airport with a satisfied feeling that she could be f.
