Summary

Miranna calls to those who cry, to those whose god is none, for on that shore they shall at last find faith will bring them home In a world that is dominated by the worship of stone idols, human sacrifice, and other atrocities committed in the name of the “gods”, a small group of outcasts remain faithful to the belief that somewhere there is a true, holy god that is worthy of worship. Called “godless”, they are abused, ostracized, and often killed for their lack of belief in the local deities. Keller, son of the Guild Master in his home village, believes in no god at all, not even the one his father insists must be out there somewhere. When an accident at the quarry relieves Keller of his position, his father uses the mysterious discovery to send his son in search of “Miranna.” No one knows if it is place or person, but the godless believe it will be their confirmation and salvation. Accompanied by three others, one of whom is his best friend, Keller sets off to find something he truly believes cannot possibly exist.
