Summary

Scarlett Westley, shipped to Ketchikan, Alaska from her city Birmingham, Alabama, well into the ripe season of senior year discovers that Ketchikan isn't the quiet, quaint town she once thought it to be. School, spending time at her grandmothers shoppe, and reading is what Scarlett expected; but she couldn't be more wrong. Fenrir Romano is going through his high school years yearning for his home and pack, back in Lombardy, Italy. Being the future alpha and king of his pack, not only did he have to possess dominance and power, but also humility and knowledge of his lineage. When his parents decided to temporarily move him to his mother's hometown to ground Fenrir and teach him of his mother's history, Fenrir felt lost and out of touch with his pack. Until years later when a certain chestnut-haired teen walks through the doors of Ketchikan High School-meek and anxious- immediately bringing the usual strong and brooding Fenrir to his knees. The problem is, is that his mate is human. This pairing between two species is unheard of. Just as Fenrir thought things couldn't get more complicated, a string of killings begin tormenting Ketchikan. Danger strikes and Fenrir will do anything to keep his mate safe, even if it is at the expense of his life.
