SYNOPSIS
Olivia Lewis has the kind of life most people envy—wealth, nobility, luxury at every turn. But behind the designer clothes and picture-perfect image, she is nothing more than a prisoner. Her husband, Daniel, dictates everything, from the way she speaks to the way she breathes. He cheats, he controls, he hurts, and when his latest affair pushes her past breaking point, she spirals straight into the destructive path of Royce Milton.
Royce, dark, handsome, and mysterious, is the last person she should turn to. He doesn’t even know she exists until one reckless night of wine-fuelled confessions drives her into his arms, where she drunkenly reveals that his girlfriend—the woman he loves—has been sleeping with her husband.
When the haze of her drunken bitterness wears off, guilt drives her back to him, sneaking through the village streets Daniel forbids her from setting foot in. She wants to make amends for crashing his world down on him. He is angry and wants nothing to do with her.
But Olivia doesn’t give up easily. She worms her way into his life, into his world, into his hands. The lies he told and the secrets she kept blur into something deeper. And just as she dares to believe in something beyond survival, everything worth fighting for shatters.
