Prólogo: La Sombra que fue luz

Las llamas del gran templo crepitaban en la noche eterna. Sus paredes, talladas con los símbolos de los Cuatro Reinos, parecían vibrar con un susurro ancestral. El ultimo Guardián de la Esencia yacía en el suelo, su aliento era débil mientras trazaba un símbolo en el polvo sagrado.

"Los elementos... han olvidado su origen... han olvidado que eran uno..." susurro con su último aliento.

Desde los cielos desgarrados por tormentas, el Vacío se alzó. No era solo oscuridad - era lo que quedaba de un poder que alguna vez sostuvo el mundo en equilibrio. Ahora, consumido por el hambre del caos, expandía su sombra sobre cada reino, avivando el miedo y la desconfianza.

Entonces, una voz resonó en las piedras del templo, una advertencia escrita en el viento:

"Cuando los vientos griten, el fuego devore, la tierra tiemble y el agua se alce...Cuatro almas serán llamadas. Pero si fallan, si la sombra consume la última chispa de unidad... el mundo caerá, y con él, todo recuerdo de lo que fue."

Las llamas se extinguieron. La tierra se quebró. Los océanos rugieron. Los vientos enmudecieron.

El Vacío había comenzado su avance.

Y los elegidos, aún sin saberlo, estaban por ser llamados.
