En una de las playas de Portugal una turista se metió al mar, era una mujer sumamente hermosa de tez clara casi bronceada, cabello castaño y ojos avellana. Mientras ella y sus amigas jugaban en el agua un hombre a lo lejos no podía dejar de mirar a esta mujer, él era la encarnación del Mar mismo, el dios del mar y los terremotos volvió a su elemento y se acercó a la mujer. Sólo bastó con tocar su vientre por un breve momento para dejar dentro de ella su próximo descendiente y se fue. Ambos volvieron a sus lugares de origen y cuando pasaron los nueve meses correspondientes nació una bebé completamente sana, esto lo supo el Dios y fue a visitarlas algunos días después sólo para darle su marca a la niña y su historia a la madre de su hija, pronto volvió al mar y dejó a su hija al cuidado de su madre. 1. *Posibles errores de ortografía y redacción en los capítulos, si los encuentran ayúdenme con señalar estos en los comentarios*. 2. *Las bases para crear esta historia fueron la novela juvenil de Rick Riordan "Percy Jackson y el Ladrón del rayo", la mitología griega y Mexica.*
No está de más decir que esta primer parte de la historia de Larissa y Luka tenga algo que ver con la búsqueda del tridente de su hermano Tritón, pero también sobre resolver problemas entre sus amigos y buscar la manera de no estar furiosa con Poseidón por hacerla pasar cientos de peligros fuera de casa y de camino al camapamento.
