Summary

They say looks don't matter. But to me, they lied. Arya Madikizela has spent her life trapped behind the symptoms of Cutis Laxa. But the harshest blows don't come from strangers- they come from home. Relentlessly bullied by her peers, her twin sister Fiona, and a mother who only favors the daughter with flawless, smooth skin, Arya is at her breaking point. And one day. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° "I'm home" I said as I took off her cap, my voice echoing around the room. Everywhere was still utterly silent. Clack! Clack! My heels clicked on the marble floor as I walked to the living room. Basically, the house was rarely this silent these days, with the Fiona's four hours culinary class and her mother's usual chattering with her boyfriend was absent, rendering the house a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. I spotted a note, folded neatly on the kitchen island. A frown creased on my wrinkled face as I walked over there for further inspection.

Biva: Quite good for a novella. Impressive writing style and we'll edited. Just one thing- Karla keeps referring herself to a stray cat and while at first it makes sense the analogy gets stale after a while.
