The game that changes everything

We are down by one point. It's our ball, and we have 20 seconds left on the clock. This play is our last shot to win the first game of the season. We huddle up so our team captain can explain what the play is. The team captain is cool, but totally drool worthy. After the huddle is over we get into position. Since I'm a wide receiver I line up away from all the others like we planned. Then he says hut. I take of running into the inzone. The QB passes me the ball and........ Touchdown!

The team rushes over and picks me and the QB up and cheering. That's when I take off my helmet for the first time during the game. The look on the rival coaches face though. I bet he is very mad that his team couldn't catch a girl.

After everyone left the field I staid to practice on those tackle dummies. I positioned them in the inzone. After that I stepped back a feet or two, and then I charged at the tackling dummies and started to push them across the field.

When I was about done I saw someone in the stands. He yelled out my name and beconed for me to come over there. I cautiously approached the guy. " Hi my name is Coach Perch. I watched you play today, and I was wondering if you would like to play for the marlines in California?" I must of looked like a fish out of water because he was laughing. After I regained my voice I said "Are you serious?" He nodded his head, and handed me a packet and said "Here is a packet that might help you decide. It would be awesome to have you on our team." He started walking away, and I was still standing there not believing what I just heard. My mom is not going to believe this. I hope she will be happy.
