"This book really is magnificent, and I don't have a power-hungry dictator forcing me to say that. I read the first eleven chapters for a review swap, but this really is extraordinary. I like the contrast between the chapters that have the young Jesse as a POV, and of course the others with the Great Magnificence himself. He is well-deserving of the nickname You Know Who, which is more than slightly reminiscent of Voldemort, but rightly so Voldemort could learn lessons from this guy! Keep up the fantastic work! Sofia"

"Come for the cover, stay for the delightfully intriguing first sentence, and then look up three hours later wondering what just happened? Do not start reading this one right before bedtime, or mealtime, or anything you can't do while reading..."
Amazing
"This story is extremely good and is not even completed yet. The writing style and plot has me at the edge of my seat. Can't wait to see what happens next! "
Seasoned writer
"I think the best thing about this story is its writing style. The writing style can bring out the emotions in the scene. The plot is great but the execution is greater. For anyone who likes rebellion/revolution type stories, this is a fantastic one with professional touch. I really like books in this genre so that's a plus for me."

"Very delightful story. Enjoyed it from the beginning."
A World Like No Other
"From what I've read do far (and I plan on finishing with a nice big cup of coffee and snuggly blanket) this book has such an imaginative world that the author has definitely brought to life. Every word choice paints a new picture for the pain and suffering that lays hidden beneath a new, future- esque reform. I can't wait to keep reading about Jesse and his role he will play in the world. I also can't wait to unearth the secrets behind the minister. The writing itself is almost near flawless though there are some minor errors that a quick edit could fix- nothing too distracting. Keep up the amazing work. I plan on spending my whole day with this book! "

A page-turner
"The title and the cover of the story itself had me intrigued. A story well written and executed. The plot is extremely captivating. I love the characters and the role they played. A few grammatical errors, but other than that, the story is unique and a page-turner. The use of vocabulary is spiffing. Overall, the story is splendid."
A dystopian YA fiction
"I would like to start off by saying that the cover is very unique and it caught my attention. I loved the plots, as well as, the characterisation of the characters. It was captivating and a page-turner. No readers would want to miss this book. Other than a few punctuation errors, it's a five-star rating."
Great start to a interesting novel
"The story held my interest. The character I could feel for. And most of the plot held up. A few suggestions read through it once more. There a few places if you edit one or two lines makes the story flow better. A suggestion maybe an introduction to Joshua or who that is. Otherwise a great story. This helps me in grammar and sentence structure. https://prowritingaid.com/Free"

Unique
"This book is something unique, something Different I haven't heard before. Character development is really good and presentation is very professional but the most interesting part is its plot. It's plot is something I haven't imagined or heard before so this book is perfect If you are looking for something new."
An interesting start!
"So far, I'm intrigued by this post apocalyptic world and the religion they follow. I like the concepts and find it leaves me wanting to know more. I think some of the initial dialogue would benefit from a little rework: I understand that you are introducing concepts through the conversation, but it seems unrealistic that people who are familiar with this world would express surprise and be talking as if it was all new to them. I think you could adjust it slightly so it seems more familiar to them but still introduces the concept to the reader. Also, the initial description of the main character felt a little dense with adjectives. Perhaps you could simply describe him in a more simplistic way so we understand what we need to about him without the scene setting getting in the way. Overall, I really liked it - more than I thought I would from the first few sentences. Well done!"
A Good Prospect for Dystopian Young Adult Fiction
"This story shows great promise, with a high vocabulary and intense social commentary. The concept of the story is uncompromising and engrossing, pulling you from paragraph to paragraph with relative ease. That being said, certain sentences do run on a little too long, while they are by no means tedious, they certainly feel a little too weighed down. But, otherwise, the story, the author's writing style, and the resolute social stance, all make this story very gripping."
