Fresh Plot Line
"I honestly really enjoyed reading this story. It's vastly different from what I've seen done in other shifter romance novels and I'm digging it. The author has pieced together some of the traditional lore that we see from these stories with unique and interesting twists that have kept me coming back for more. I will certainly continue to read this story as the author updates it, because I need to know what's going to happen next! Killian is the new Alpha of the Black Moon Pack and has recently found in mate in Helena of the Silver Moon Pack. Helena comes from a long line of wolves that are fierce warriors and healers. Their cultures are different from one another and they must learn to live together as mates to ally themselves against an on-growing threat from outsiders. I think the plot of story is unique in that Helena and her pack are more beast than man, sharing many similarities with wolves in their human form such as color-blindness, strength, agility, and endurance. They're also extremely tall creatures making them physically different from the simple shifters of the Black Moon Pack. I'm very glad the author chose to give us a slow-burn romance instead of something fast paced. When having characters immediately lust after each other, it comes off as being rather clunky without an emotional attachment between the characters. With this, the author shows us Killian and Helena's progression with their relationship instead of immediately jumping into lust. I enjoyed the author's writing style and I like the pacing of the book so far. There were a few grammatical errors but they didn't detract from the story for me. It's nothing a little editing can't fix later on."

"I loved the story and the authors writing style. Each chapter ends well leaving the reader turning the page. There are a few things that could improve the flow of the story such as punctuation, sentence structure, show vs telling and repeated words. Certainly one to keep your eye on. A Werewolf Fantasy.
"It is different from most of the werewolf stories out there. Killian is a human like werewolf where as Helena and her family represents wolves more efficiently. The only problem I came across in the story is the writing style. While reading about character's emotions it feels more like an informative text than a story. It's as if the main leads are telling the reading about their feelings with their POV rather than showing. You use alot of "I said, I did, I felt." Try to lessen their use so that the story flows smoothly. It's a good work in the making! :) "

"As the book is now, it's great and I would certainly recommend it to any fantasy readers. Though it still needs some editing, it is easy to read and the sentences flow almost effortlessly. Killian's character could be expressed a bit better and that also counts for the others. They seem to me all the same. Try to give them all their own distinct personality, something that makes them unique. I know the she-wolf is cold and distant to her mate, but her personality underneath that layer resembles the others too much in my opinion. This is especially important at the beginning of your book as this will draw the reader in. Still a great read."

"Even though the werewolf genre is not my cup of tea personally, there is a lot to admire in the way this book is written. The author's use of description and imagery is very impressive, and I actually forgot that she wasn't a native English speaker/writer. This novel is honestly one of the smoothest I've ever read in terms of grammar and language. It flows very well. There are a lot of elements at play here: romance, status, power, political alliances, and of course, deadly secrets. The author does a very good job of creating tension between the characters and building suspense. In the pack of imitators, this stands out for the attention to detail by the author. You'll love this book if you love Twilight or werewolf romance fiction in general. "

It is the time of year when werewolves are required to mate and Killian Darcy is very impressed by the Anglo Saxon beauty of Helena his mate chosen by the Luna Goddess, herself. Will he be equally impressed when he sees her in wolf form and vice versa? For that matter will their marriage be enough to heal their warring factors of their two werewolf tribes? What will be the ultimate fate for both of them? M.Mokka has all the answers in this novel. He/she is a confident writer and carefully guides the reader’s attention through this version of Romeo and Juliet story with werewolves. I saw no grammatical errors here. (Very rare for Inkitt). In fact this is the best werewolf story I have read to date on this site. Definitely take a look if you’re a fan of Twilight. "
