Possession at it's bloodiest
"This story is fucked up. BUT In that good way that makes you question why you like such gore and horrifying things lol The first couple of chapters already lets you know what you're in for for the rest of the story. Destiny definitely reminds me of one of my characters in my story so maybe that's why I liked her role so much. Could see this as an anime tbh, Curious to know if a part 2 to this story is possible......dun dun dun lol Ok but seriously this was great. Recommend for anyone that wants a late night read."

"It's so weird that I started reading this story at 2AM I think and oh, goodness! With the amazing opening Chapter, I swear the chills got me stuck in my bed. I've always been a fan horror films but never did I enjoy reading scary stories. But this one? I will definitely recommend this to my friends. The emotions of the MC, the creepy way of speaking with her possessor, and the overall narration, this story deserves more recognition."

"I really liked this book! It had a great plot and kept me interested the whole time and there weren't very many grammar or spelling errors! Only criticism is you use a lot of simple sentence starters and so it becomes somewhat monotonous, so I would have liked to see a little more variety in sentence structure. Besides that, great job!"

"From the first paragraph, I was hooked. The gore and horror are so well written and every chapter there is suspense. One thing I wish the author would do is write longer chapters. It's such a fast read, I feel like there isn't enough. Can't wait to see what happens next!"

Room of Blood
"Everywhere there is blood. It pours from the walls and drips from the ceiling. Your foot prints leaves smeared blood on the floor and the strong copper smell of blood chokes the oxygen out of the air. In the mirrors your own image laughs at you with deep obsidian eyes. Is this your new reality? Or have you receded into a dark place in your mind, where something laughs and controls your every move ...like a puppet. A wonderful start for Paola Droz’s new novel. What I liked best about Uncontrollable is it’s unique premise. I’ve read and seen plenty of movies about possessions before but never one told from the possessed view point, the horror of truly loosing your control to an evil spirit. I get the shudders just thinking about. Can’t wait to see what this author has planned on what happens next. "

Genuine Demonic Horror
"The story has a visceral and gruesome opening. I found myself anxious to see how Destiny would overcome her demonic possessor, Belias.There are a couple of places, such as in chapter 6, when the past and present tense get mixed up, but this didn’t really pull me out of the story. I was impressed by Destiny’s quick thinking and how genuine her fear felt. In chapter 12, she reflects on how she will never have a normal night in at her dorm, or at any campus parties, ever again, which was deeply moving to read. The story ramped up to a tense climax. This is a solid, gory, and terrifying tale."
