What is your opinion?
... I wrote out a long beautiful and insightful comment and my computer deleted it... :(
"Okay, take two... I'm sorry, but this will be a lot shorter since I don't remember all the gushing I did because it was a lot... I really liked this story as a horror lover. I wasn't sure that I would enjoy reading horror since I mostly watch it, but I really did. The author's take on zombies is really cool (from their weaknesses being that they lose false body parts like teeth so they can't infect people to their fear of loud noises and bright lights). I think it's really hard to redesign a staple like zombies into something original, so the fact that this author did that is *finger kisses* mwah - beautiful, almost as beautiful (and I know this is going to sound weird, but stay with me) as their descriptions. I also appreciate how the author is willing to grow in their craft by taking comments about things like their grammar in stride with a willingness to improve on them. I think this story is one to keep up with, and I look forward to seeing where it goes. :)"
Nice detail.
"Albeit hard to follow; I really like your use of detail. I've never read a zombie book before so it's very new/refreshing to me. Your characters have their very own personality. Nice writing."
Fight for life
"This writer is clearly a master at the horrific, and brings with a a terrified group of characters that carry you along for the ride. Terrifying, full of gore, and full of action from the very first moment, which make for excellent first chapters. Plenty of time later to get to know the characters, and already with the running over of the victim, we see some steel in the heroine's character. We can't really rate the plot, there isn't enough of the story written as yet to do so. Well written, and a must for lovers of pure horror."

"I love how the way you wrote it, it was very interesting from the first chapter, it makes you want to read it again to see what will happen next. Great work!"
Amazing!
"This book was like the classic zombie apocalypse story, but better. The name of the book is very fitting for the content of this story. I found myself getting drawn into the world where the main character is undergoing the zombie invasion. I hung on to every word, as it was very descriptive and elaborate. Keep up the good work! -Kathryn Brae"
Still reeling from the action
"Man was I not ready for a smack of action to slap me in the face. There are only two chapters released so far from this book, and I'm very interested in finding out where it goes. It holds immense potential! You have the gore nailed down perfectly! You have a way with describing the disgusting creatures and how they fed off their victims in a goosebumps-inducing manner., so kudos to that. Very well impressed with that because I don't think I have the ability to bring a post-apocalyptic world like you do! Besides the overall potential and great description of the unraveling actions, I have a few thoughts on the characters themselves. It could probably be due to the release of only two chapters, but I felt the characters missed personally crafting to their individuality. I couldn't grasp anything distinct about any of them except that Jake likes to be independent, and that I'd have preferred it to be shown and not told. The grammar, punctuation, and spacing might need a little tweaking here and there, but besides that, this was an enjoyable, adrenaline filled read! KEEP IT UP!"
Very Descriptive!
"The immediate and powerful actions in the first paragraph hooked me to the next, then one after the other. Overall, a refreshing read with a powerful summary. I must applaud the writer for her captivating writing style and her strong imagination. It’s difficult to flesh out an entire world of zombies based alone on imagination, yet you did it so effortlessly and with so much ease – It’s incredible! I binged the two chapters from start to end. This story was truly thrilling! I Loved it! I loved it so much that right in the middle of the second chapter; I didn’t want it to end! I wanted to envision more scenes. It was that immersive! You have an amazing way with words; you choose them so perfectly that they grasp the exact movement going on in the scene. As a flash fiction writer, I’ve been devouring new words like a hungry beast for years, so I can get my writing as precise as yours. You did it with so much ease, man! Hats off to you for that! The thing that distracted me from the story a little were your characters. Even though their reactions and dialogues were quite realistic, but it still felt like you didn’t take enough time to shape their personalities before writing them. But maybe this is because there are only two chapters available from the book, and you’re one of those writers who sprinkle the character’s personality and backstory in few amounts throughout the book without dumping them all in the first few chapters. Either way, it works. Also, there are quite a few things that need fixing. Grammar and punctuation. A nice proofread will do the job. If not, I recommend using Grammarly or ProWritingAid. Overall, the story is awesome, and your descriptive style complemented the thriller perfectly. You got me hooked and I can’t wait to read more chapters from the book! Please update soon!"
Fighting!!
"It was really awesome. I usually watch horror movies only because of the graphics but I really loved the way you described everything thing in detail enough to make a great picture of it in mind. Waiting for the next chapter...."
Can't wait to see where you take it!
"There is only two chapters to this book, but let me tell you this author knows how to word play. Her chapters are action packed and just a full on rollercoaster through and through. Yes, I found several spelling mistakes and the structure of her story is misplaced, but she has assured that she knows and is fixing the issue. All in all, its a great story in a genre that we all know and most love. I can't wait to see what you do with this story and I hope you knock it out!"

"You have a gift for gore. Most writers do not. You also are able to evoke a sense of unrelenting action. This too is a gift. Things to consider: Slow down. Don't give so much so fast. More description. Develop your characters. I never did understand the backseat people. Again your great strength is action but you must temper it. I know you can do it!"
