Summary

A girl, 17, brunette, short, Asian, and very curious. She one day found a floating necklace in the forest area of the park, she was just jogging at night cause the park in her town, ryten beach*found in a region somewhat a cousin of Australia*. She touched the floating necklace and felt a spark next thing shes is the hospital ceiling. What was that spark?, and is she okay?. Questions we all need to know only if we kept reading.

Chapter 1:introduction

Just like everyone else, in the morning kaidra would wake up, wash her face, brush her teeth, eat her breakfast, and head off to school. As she walks In the school of course, we have the separated groups: the jocks, cheerleaders, emos, musicals, nerds, and her group. Her best friends, Dylan and katie are the only ones who are close to her, knowing her whole life story or maybe half.....

Today wont be like any other day she has ever witnessed, as it was finally the end of school, they went to the fruit juice truck in front the school cause students get refreshments there to reload the information. They find their seats, but all were taken. One guy at a table stands up and walks off.

"You can have this table, I'm off to somewhere after all"

He offers.

"Thanks"

Kaidra greets him.

"As I was saying at lunch, no way, that there arent any other universes. That's impossible"

Dylan rants.

"Yeah, yeah we know Dylan 'mermaids can fly in Jupiter' c'mon we are all old enough to know that it isnt real, I'm sorry I'm just being honest."

Katie says. Hoping to make him stop ranting and grow up for once, though he still wont stop believing or talking about it.

"I'm gonna order for us, whipped peach refresher, pineapple twist, and mango shake for me right"

Kaidra says, gesturing the whipped peach refresher to Katie, and the pineapple twist to Dylan. As she stands up and walks off, she hears Dylan go on about his "theories" and about how he is right. Kaidra goes to the cashier to order, and comes back to the table with a tray of the orders and sits down, and they talk like it's eternity.

She goes home, after a long time with her friends and straight to her bedroom and pick what clothes to wear for her usual Friday jog. After that she goes to the kitchen to cook dinner for her father and herself. Kaidra's mother died when she was just 5, but she was given a story book that was about magical fairies and elves, kaidra just keeps it in the bookshelf she has in her room.

She finished cooking, set the table,and went to change in to her jogging outfit. As she went for her run ever6was normal, until she saw a floating necklace like her mother's in a photo she has on the side of her bedside table, she touches it, feels a painful and strong spark but wakes up in a hospital bed. What happened to her?, is she magical?, did she die?.
