Chapter One
Zenzar, Oceanus and several Ninjomnis rushed to the balcony as the sound of laughter could be heard. They had no idea who had entered their fortress. Their master hadn’t told them that he was sending them another Omni. There was a good chance that this invader wasn’t an Omni. Zenzar had his sword out. He wasn’t about to let their fortress be invaded. They all stopped when they saw a monster with six arms coming out of its sides and eight eyes on its head.
“Who are you?” Oceanus demanded as Zenzar pointed his sword at the spider monster. “Did Lord Slavic send you?”
The monster shook its head. “I am Arachne.” It replied. “I am not an Omni. I was brought to life from the fears of a human.” It looked around the chamber. “Quite a set up you have here.” He said.
Zenzar and Oceanus looked at each other. “One of the Knights must be terrified of spiders.” Oceanus said. “Only Akumu could bring people’s fears to life.”
“But the clowns and the rising water all vanished once Knight Dragon destroyed Akumu.” Zenzar reminded Oceanus. “So how did this spider monster survive?”
“If I had to take a guess, majority of the humans are afraid of spiders.” Oceanus said. “All of their fear must have given Arachne here enough power to survive even after Akumu was destroyed.” He really had no idea how the spider monster was still there if it was created from the fear that Akumu had harvested.
“Arachne, we could use a monster like you.” Zenzar said, turning to the spider monster. “Humans are terrified of spiders. You could be the key to releasing Lord Slavic.”
“If you were to summon all of the spiders from all around Andros City, you could start a panic. If one of the Knights is truly afraid of spiders, he’ll be too terrified to fight. The Ninjomnis and I would be able to easily overpower the other two Knights.” Zenzar explained. He knew that Knight Samurai had overpowered him in the past but he was certain that he would win the fight this time.
Arachne thought about it. It sounded like a good idea to him. He was down for causing trouble and destruction. It also sounded like he terrified a lot of people. Working with these two monsters could be fun. “When do we begin?” He asked.
