Summary

** In the war-torn world of Theia, the life of a dragon princess lies in the hands of a dragon hunter, of all people. Soon, both must question their previous worldview: who is really the monster? ** Amid the mountains, the Drakon have gathered and plan to finally defend themselves against the humans. For this, the princess of the north Nurijet and the heir to the throne of Addoran, Velaris, are to be united. Instead, the latter and the younger prince Ahren are dangerously attracted to each other - and make a mad plan to run away together. Meanwhile, the King of Dathur's bastard son, a celebrated Dathurian dragon slayer & hero, sets off for the Border Mountains with a squad for his own reasons. When he unexpectedly captures a dragoness there, and she turns into a woman, he faces unexpected new problems. Soon, not only are budding feelings for his prey causing him problems but so are the growing differences among his people. And with all the trouble, the hunter doesn't even suspect what treasure has fallen into his hands... or what danger it could mean to fall in love with the enemy.

Preface

Welcome!

The story “Blood & Bone - The Dragonblood Chronicles” is a story set in a fictional world based on the Middle Ages, in which there are creatures from myths, legends and horror tales, as well as dark sorcery and magic.

Dathur and Trevolia, the two great powers of the continent of Theia have been at war with each other for so long that no one can remember the origins of this feud. But it is not only the eternal strife that is tugging at the countries, but also the terrible winged beasts that are making their lives difficult: dragons!

“Dragons are fierce, bloodthirsty beasts.

They slaughter villages and hoard our treasures.

Many a noble soul has died under their claws

and in their fiery breath.

They are monsters.

Spawns of darkness, who must be killed.”

This attitude is shared by the countries of Trevolia and Dathur, and for many decades they have each fought separately against the dragon plague that mainly dominates the mountain passes between the countries. When one day Dathur discovers the monsters’ greatest weakness and seems to bring them to their knees with weapons made of the precious obsidian, the humans are finally within reach of their victory.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
