Samantha decide emigrar de Latinoamérica a los Estados Unidos con la visa a punto de caducar y la necesidad de recurrir a documentos falsos para sobrevivir. A pesar de ser un hombre implacable que no permite que nadie se involucre en su vida más de lo necesario, la entrada de Samantha amenaza con desordenar no solo su rutina, sino también los límites que él mismo se impuso. Entre la inevitable chispa que surge entre ambos, la sombra del pasado y una amenaza asomando a la vuelta de la esquina, una pregunta se cierne en el aire: ¿serán los sentimientos y la atracción física lo suficientemente fuertes como para tejer un amor que desafía fronteras, extendiendo sus raíces más allá de los límites geográficos, o se convertirán en la fuerza implacable que los destruirá sin compasión?
