Chapter 1. Fears...
Alice was talking to her dad when there was a sound outside, her dad ignored it till it eventually became louder. Her dad went to go check, Alice waited and Waited for her dad to come back inside…it was eventually taking too long so she went to go look for her dad. Alice put on her shoes and headed out the door. When she made it outside she Looked for hours and hours till she couldn't. She called her memaw from her dads phone. Her memaw was panicking because she wasn't at her house, She Oklahoma. Alice's memaw said to call her stepmom. Alice tried to call her stepmom multiple times but she never answered. She called her memaw again,Her memaw said to call the police while she was heading back from Oklahoma. Alice called the police but they said it’s no big deal. He's probably hiding in a shed or something except they don’t have a shed or anything to hide in. She once again called her memaw, saying they didn’t help at all. She then quickly made up her mind to pack a bag like she was running away but wasn’t. She was going to her step grandma's house because they were up the road. She thought to herself “Why didn’t I do this in the first place.?”
