Summary

You’ve got: • A human lead (Riven) navigating post-breakup chaos, trying to heal, and definitely not expecting to fall for a literal demon who’s bad at feelings but great at forehead kisses and accidental pyromancy. • A hot-as-hell male demon (Ash) who’s just out here trying to live his soft domestic fantasy—he’s traded eternal damnation for bubble baths, but ends up getting wrecked by romance instead. Title: Hell Is Where the Heart Is Genre: Romantic Comedy / Paranormal / LGBTQ+ Tone: Sarcastic fluff + emotional gut punches + magical chaos

PROLOGUE:

HELL HR EXIT INTERVIEW

Setting: The Infernal Department of Soul Extraction & Eternal Torment (HR Division)

Mood: Bureaucratic hellscape meets chaotic resignation letter

“And you’re sure you’re resigning from eternal damnation?”

Ash glared at the demon across the desk, who wore a tie made from real screams.

“I’m not resigning. I’m taking a break. It’s called a sabbatical. Self-care? Heard of it?”

The HR demon blinked. “You’re a Level Six Incendiary Auditor.”

“Exactly. I’ve earned the right to eat ice cream out of a bathtub while crying to K-dramas.”

“There is no crying in Hell.”

“Yeah, that’s why I’m leaving.”

He signed the paperwork in his own blood, snapped his fingers, and vanished—leaving behind a scorched chair and a very confused intern.

The Grumpy Next Door

Lillipad0234: I really enjoyed Grumpy Next Door Neighbour. The humour and banter between the characters made me smile, and it was a lovely, short, fast-paced romance. 😊There were a couple of chapters where I got a little lost at first, but after rereading them, everything came together and made sense. Overall, a...
