It was a sunny evening at the Buddha Temple where I lost my parent's sight and was roaming around the temple-square. I was only 11 back then, and was so scared between so many locals and foreigners.
I remember, I was sitting at the edge by the outside wall of the main temple, and so confused, how I supposed to find my parents or relatives.
A sudden pat on my shoulder, and I saw a boy around my age but a foreigner trying to talk to me as I was sobbing in tears.....
His parent's guide was a local. Seeing me he asked, "Are you lost? Where is your parents?"
I nodded negatively and said, "I can't find them", and started to cry loudly. The boy's parents were trying to console me in their language but I kept crying as I can't understand what they were saying.
Then they took me to the announcement room. The guide asked my name and announced "We found a little girl named Nitisha Bose. Her parents please come here to take her from the announcement room, located by the main temple's kitchen-hall" and repeated it like 5 times.
Half an hour later, my parents approached me at the announcement room and say thanks to the foreigner family and guide to find and took care of me.
Then we left.
Only thing I remember about them, is a word or a name, I wasn't sure, they were calling the boy 'Yi-yang'. When I was going out of the temple with my parents, I crossed the main Buddha temple. For a split second I hault and closed my eyes, then said in my mind....
"I Wish, I could meet him again"
Then opened my eyes and continued with my parents.
