Y/n: Wait a sec. What are you talking about?
Yujin: I’m saying that if we want the newest album first, then we should camp out at the music store over night!
Y/n: That’s probably one of the dumbest things you’ve ever said.
Yujin: I say a lot of dumb things, you know that.
Y/n: -sigh- Yeah, I know man.
Y/n L/n, a high schooler who has a somewhat normal life. Nice friends. But just the thought of them again just makes you sad. But you keep telling yourself to smile and not dwell on them or the past.
Yujin: Still bummed out that Kirumi couldn’t come hangout today.
Y/n: Yeah, but she does have her duties though.
Even with the sad parts of your life, you still got your best friends Yujin Sakio and Kirumi Egao. Yujin has you and Kirumi’s friend since Middle School. Kirumi on the other hand has been your friend ever since you were 3 years old and has stuck with you ever since even through hard times like with Saki getting sick.
Yujin: I don’t know what student council entails, but it must be a stressful job.
Y/n: Maybe for us, but for her it’s a breeze.
As you two walk along, you get a weird feeling of over-enjoyment coming your way, or as Yujin likes to call it a “Wondernami”.
???: Y/n! YUJIN!
The energetic pink-haired girl jumps on your back with massive amounts of enthusiasm emanating from her.
???: Wonderhoy to both of you!
Y/n: Wonderhoy to you too Emu.
Emu Otori, one of the reasons why you keep smiling even during hard times. This pink ball of excitement is a part-time performer at the local amusement park Phoenix Wonderland on its Wonderland Stage. Thanks to her and some of your other friends, the Wonderland Stage has been gaining back some attention at the park.
Yujin: How’s it going Emu?
Emu: I’m great! Just walking to Phoenix Wonderland right now. You guys wanna help out with some stuff?
Yujin: I’d love to, but I’ve gotta camp out at the music store for the newest Miku album.
Emu: What about you Y/n?
Y/n: Maybe another day. I’d love to help out with the stage sometimes.
Emu: Dang. Well I hope you guys could help out some other time. Well this is where we split, bye you two!
Y/n and Yujin: Later Emu!
Yujin: Well, I’m gonna set up camp.
Y/n: You really gonna do it?
Yujin: Yep!
Y/n: -chuckles- Well I hope it works out.
Next day
Music Store
You walk up to the music store as Yujin sits by the entrance with a tent behind him.
Y/n: You really did it huh?
Yujin: Yep.
Y/n: Well I hate to break it to ya, but the store opened like an hour ago.
Yujin: WHAT?!
Y/n: Yeah, but how did you convince your parents to let you stay here?
Yujin: No time for that! We gotta check if the album is still here, c’mon!
Yujin drags you by the arm and brings you into the store asking you to then check around to find the album and ask other customers if they’ve seen it.
Y/n: Jeez, if Yujin wanted this album, he should’ve just looked for it himself. I was planning on making beef ramen today. Guess I’ll just make it later.
Y/n starts to look for the album, moving from side to side looking at the shelves, Y/n bumps into a person listening to music.
Y/n: H-hey! Are you okay?
???: Y-yeah. I’m fine.
Helping the girl up, you notice that she has the album that Yujin is looking for.
Y/n: Is that the newest Miku album?
???: Huh? Oh uh yeah, it is.
Y/n: I’ve been trying to find that for my friend the entire time I’ve been in here.
???: You can have it if you want.
Y/n: R-really?! Are you serious?
???: Yeah, I can just listen to this online. I just came here to find some songs to gain inspiration.
Y/n: Thank you- uh... w-what’s your name?
Kanade: Oh. My name is Kanade Yoisaki.
Y/n: Nice to meet you, Yoisaki, I’m Y/n L/n!
Kanade: Y-yeah. Here.
Kanade hands you the album with a tiny smile on her face. As you take the album, you smile back at her and in her perspective is a bright light shining at her.
Kanade: So bright...
Y/n: Huh?
Kanade: Nothing
Y/n: Okay!
Kanade:Was it that simple?!
Y/n: Well anyways, nice meeting you Yoisaki!
After Y/n parts ways with Kanade and finds Yujin digging through the “New Music” section.
Y/n: Yo! Yujin! I found it!
Yujin: Really? Nice! C’mon, let’s go. I already wanna start listening to it.
Yujin pays for the album as you see Kanade walking out the doors to the store. She looks back at you and waves a small wave before exiting. After Yujin is done, the two of you exit as well
Yujin: I can’t wait to listen to this.
Y/n: I know. You told me that yesterday. And you might wanna pick up your camping stuff.
Yujin Looks down at the equipment and he slumps his body.
Yujin: Damn it...
Y/n: And while you do that, I’ll get back to my own house.
Yujin: Yeah yeah, safe travels Y/n
Y/n: Yep, later man.
Y/n walks back to their house and puts their headphones in. They open their music app and starts playing music as they walk back. After a few songs they just come to a stop. Checking up on the app they see a song called “UNTITLED”. As they click play on the song a bright flash appears, blinding Y/n. After coming to, they open their eyes and see a person with teal hair and pigtails in front of them, humming a tune.
Y/n: H-Hello?
The person turns around and you recognize the person...
Y/n: H-HATSUNE MIKU?!?!
Miku: Hm? Oh, hello there
Y/n: Why are you so casual about this?!
Miku: Well this isn’t my first time talking to people.
Y/n: What?
Miku: Mhm! I’ve been helping others for a bit now.
Y/n: Others? What are you talking about?
Miku: Well it’ll be better if I showed you

School SEKAI
A bright flash engulfs your vision again, blinding you. As you can see clearly again, you see that you are in a school hallway. As you try and grasp your surroundings, you feel a tap on your shoulder. Turning you see Miku in a different outfit.
Y/n: Where are we?
Miku: This is a SEKAI. The one were in is the School SEKAI
Y/n: You’re telling me there are multiple of these?
Miku: Yep. They’ve all been experiencing some weird phenomena as of late.
Y/n: Meaning?
Miku Well something must be missing. The SEKAI’s have been creating random objects and I’ve been seeing what the problem is. And I think I found it.
Y/n: You have? Wait wait wait, why am I here if there’s even a problem?
Miku: You’re the thing that’s missing.
Y/n: I... Find That hard to believe.
Miku and Y/n reach a classroom door and Miku slides it open
Miku: Well you better believe it!
As you walk in, four girls look at you. Their eyes widen the second they realize who you are.
???: Y/n! Is that really you?!
Y/n: W-Wait... You’re...
It was your childhood friends. Ichika, Saki, Honami, and Shiho all in the same place again.
Y/n: It... It’s been so long since-
Saki runs up and hugs you tightly cutting you off
Saki: Y/n! I’m so happy you’re here right now!
Y/n: Saki...
Y/n smiles and hugs her back as he looks up at the others.
Y/n: So... How are you girls?
Ichika: Everything is great. What about you?
Y/n: I’m doing good as well. Wait who’s that-
As Y/n looks behind them he sees Luka Megurine.
Luka: Hm? Oh hello.
Y/n: You know at this point I’m not surprised.
Miku: These are the members of Leo/need who are apparently your childhood friends.
Y/n: Leo/need? As in like the meteor shower? And I thought you had that info right off the bat
Miku: Yep. And you’re a late addition so there I couldn’t get much info
Y/n: Right
Honami: What have you been up to Y/n?
Shiho: Yeah, I kinda wanna know too
Y/n: Well, it’s been... Eventful to say the least.
Ichika: What about your girlfriend?
Y/n: Oh her? No, we broke up.
Saki: You had a girlfriend?
Shiho: Why did you two break up?
Y/n: Y’know, things just didn’t work.
Honami: No, I get it. Some relationships aren’t meant to be.
As they continue to talk for a while, Y/n glances around the room a bit, noticing their instruments.
Y/n: You guys play?
Ichika: Hm? Oh, yeah we do.
Y/n: Why’s there an extra Bass? If I’m counting right, there’s six of you and seven instruments.
Shiho: It just kind of appeared.
Y/n: I guess that kinda... makes sense?
Miku: It must be yours then,
Y/n: Is it?
Luka: It probably is. Judging by the fact that your here now, it’s probably yours
Y/n: I mean it makes the most sense.
Saki: Ooo! Y/n, you should play with us!
Y/n: O-Oh, no. I’m not good at playing instruments at all
Shiho: No worries. I can help you out
Y/n: You play bass?
Shiho: Mhm.
Y/n: Thanks Shiho
Shiho: It’s not a problem Y/n.
Honami: How about we give you a performance next time you come by.
Miku: That sounds like a great idea.
Y/n: That does sound fun. Sure why not
Luka: I think you two should get going now yeah?
Miku: Mhm. Let’s go Y/n.
Y/n: Yeah. It was nice to see you girls again.
Ichika: It was nice to see you again too Y/n.
Saki: I hope you can come back again!
Y/n: Don’t worry, I will.
Y/n and the rest say their goodbyes as Miku and Y/n exit the room
Miku: Ready to head to the next SEKAI?
Y/n: Yeah. Just still can’t believe that my childhood friends we’re in one room again
Miku: -chuckles- Well I hope you can help them get closer now
Y/n: I hope I can too.

A bright flash appears again and blinds you. Opening your eyes you see a huge stage in front of you.
Y/n: What the hell?!
Miku: Welcome to the Stage SEKAI!
Y/n: Another outfit change. This gonna happen every time?
Miku: Yep. You also have a outfit for each SEKAI. It’s somewhere but I don’t know where.
Y/n: Uh huh...
Rin: I’m not late am I?!
Miku: No Rin, you’re actually right on time.
The same flash of light appears and as it clears, four people are now standing there.
???: I wonder what Miku wanted to show us.
???: I hope it’s something cooooo- uh...
Her pink eyes stare into yours as her confusion turns into shock and then into excitement.
Airi: Y/n!!!!
Airi leaps at you practically tackling you into a hug.
Y/n: J-Jesus Airi, chill out!
Shizuku: Y/n, is that really you?
Y/n stands up, Airi still clinging on like her life depends on it.
Y/n: Yep it’s really me.
Y/n looks to his side and sees Minori
Y/n: Hey Minori- Is that Haruka?
Minori: Eh? Oh yeah it is.
Y/n: Wow... I’m surprised that you’re not fangirling right now. You did always say that you wanted to-
Minori starts blushing hard as Y/n almost finishes their sentence before she cuts them off.
Minori: I-I think that’s enough Y/n!!!
Y/n: I know I know. I’m just joking
Haruka: -giggles- I guess you know me from Minori already huh?
Y/n: Yep. My name is Y/n L/n.
Haruka: It’s nice to meet you Y/n.
Y/n: So did Minori ever tell you that she-
Minori covers your mouth with both of her hands as she blushes a bright red
Minori: I told you to cut that out!!!
Y/n: Mmpphh Mh- Geez you got a strong grip when you don’t want me to spill your secrets huh?

As you speak Minori clings onto you like Airi making you fall to the ground.
Y/n: Jeez you two wanna make me crippled don’t you?
Rin: C’mon you two, get off of them.
The two release themselves from you and smile sheepishly.
Minori: Sorry, it’s just been a while since I’ve seen them
Y/n: I saw you last week
Minori: Yeah, that was a long time ago!
Airi: I just did it because that’s what I usually do to them.
Y/n: I still don’t know why you do that.
Airi: It’s because you’re one of my best friends.
Y/n: Right.
Haruka: So your going to be joining us Y/n?
Y/n: Yeah.
Minori: Do you even know the first thing about idols though?
Y/n: You used to make me listen to you ramble on about idols all the time. I think I know what I’m doing.
Shizuku: You’re already finding your place here Y/n.
Y/n: I think so too. Plus, you girls are lively enough to brighten up this place more than it already is.
Haruka: Well I hope you enjoy your time here Y/n.
Y/n: Thanks Haruka.
Miku: Might as well head out now. Gotta do some important stuff.
Rin: W-What?! Already?
Miku: Heh~ Sorry Rin!
Y/n: Later, guys.
MMJ: Bye, Y/n!
Y/n and Miku walk away from the group before talking in a quieter area.
Miku: Well, I’ll be seeing you soon, Y/n.
Y/n: For me, it’ll be like a second, and a different you.

The flash of light surrounds you again, bringing you to a street with an open cafe. And graffiti that says “Vivid BAD SQUAD” on it.
Y/n: Hm... Alright then.
???: C’mon Miku! Tell us already, I’m dying to know!
Miku: Ah, An. Just look over there, they’re right there.
An: They? Oh!
The six people in the cafe look at you, with you recognizing five of them.
Akito: Oh? Y/n?
Toya: That’s definitely them.
Kohane: Y/n!
Y/n: Ah, hey guys.
MEIKO: Mmh, this is the person you were talking about, huh Miku?
Miku: Mhm. This is Y/n L/n.
An: Guess I should introduce myself then. I’m Shiraishi An. Nice to meet you Y/n! Just call me An though, no need for formalities.
Y/n: Ah, nice to meet you too An.
Miku: And he’s joining up with our group.
Toya: Really now?
Akito: Nice, can’t wait to see you in action Y/n.
An: Are they that good?
Kohane: Mhm, Y/n is so talented, especially with music.
An: No way, are you really Y/n?
Y/n: Well, I guess...
Toya: You don’t need to be so modest Y/n.
Y/n: I just really don’t do it anymore, y’know.
Akito: What do you mean, you don’t really do it anymore?
Y/n: I just don’t...
Miku: That’s alright Y/n. Don’t need to push yourself.
The tension is a bit higher until Len walks over.
Len: Why worry about that now? C’mon, let’s have something to drink, yeah?
MEKIO: I agree. Who wants some sake?
Miku: They’re minors, MEIKO.
MEIKO: Tehehe, I know, I know.
After a while, you all hanging out, all of you having some (child friendly) drinks (Use your imagination, Idk what you guys wanna drink.)
Miku: You wanna get going now, Y/n?
Y/n: Oh, yeah. Sure.
Toya: Oh? Your going now?
Y/n: Yep. I am.
Kohane: Have a good rest of your day Y/n!

Wonderland SEKAI
You then walk away, the light of the SEKAI engulfing you and bringing you to the next SEKAI. As you open your eyes, you see that you’re in a place resembling a theme park. As you walk, you see plushie’s walking and floating around the area before stumbling upon KAITO.
KAITO: Oh, hey there.
Y/n: KAITO? Oh, uh. Y’know where Miku is?
KAITO: Miku? Hmm, she should be around here somewhere... She’s always causing trouble.
As the two of you walk around to find Miku, you see her and a group of people with her.
KAITO: Ah, there you are, Miku.
Miku: Oh, KAITO, I was just about to look for you!
KAITO: And Y/n?
Emu: Y/n?!
Emu bolts forward at you and tackles you onto the ground and into another hug.
Emu: Y/n, I can’t believe you’re here right now!
Y/n: Gah! Emu!
Nene: Emu, I think your killing them.
Emu: Whoops! Sorry Y/n!
Emu lets go of you and helps you back up to your feet.
Rui: So, you’re the one that Miku said was joining.
Y/n: Yep.
Tsukasa: Woah, nice! I’m glad you’re joining the troupe!
Miku: Mmh! Y/n is one of the most talented people I’ve met. Besides you guys.
Tsukasa: Right! They’re so good at so many things!
Y/n: You don’t need to flatter me so much, Tsukasa.
KAITO: I do hope that you’re able to keep up with their antics.
Y/n: Knowing them, I hope I can too, haha.
Nene: So, does this mean that you’re going to come to Phoenix Wonderland more often?
Y/n: Guess so.
Rui: I think it’s only right if we show you around, yeah?
Y/n: Yeah, I don’t mind at all.
The seven of you walk around the SEKAI, as they show you around the surrounding area. Plushies, robots, and a flying train?! What even is this place? After showing you around, you guys end up at a stage.
Nene: So, how’d you like the tour?
Y/n: It was nice. I’m glad I’m here with you guys.
Emu: Aw! I’m glad you’re here with us too!
Miku’s ears perk up and she grabs your hand and pulls you away.
Miku: Y/n’s gotta get going now!
Tsukasa: Eh?! Already?
KATIO: It has been a while.
Rui: KAITO is right.
Tsukasa and Emu’s face now show disappointment, yet they understand. Miku brings you away from the stage as the others wave you goodbye.
Miku: Ready to go?
Y/n: Yeah, I’m ready.

Empty SEKAI
As the light engulfs you again, you end up in a empty grey area. As you continue to walk, it seems like forever before you stumble upon a stage like area.
Miku: There you are.
Y/n: Miku?
Miku: Yes?
You and Miku stand there and look at each other for a few seconds before lights glow, showing more people.
Ena: What do you think that Miku wanted to show us?
Mizuki: I don’t know, but I hope it’s cute!
Mafuyu: Y/n?
Ena and Mizuki turn their heads and look at you with a shocked expression
Ena and Mizuki: Eh?! Y/n?!
Y/n: Huh? Oh, hey guys.
Ena: Hold on, why are you here?
Mizuki: Are you joining us!
Miku: Yes. They’ll be joining us. Where’s-?
Just as Miku asks her question, another light appears as another person appears from it.
Kanade: Sorry I’m a bit late, but...-
You and Kanade look at each other as your eyes widen, remembering each other from earlier.
Y/n: Yoisaki?
Kanade: L/n-san?
Mafuyu: Have you two met before?
Kanade: I saw them earlier today. Oh, how was the album?
Y/n: Oh uh, it was for my friend.
A moment of silence comes up until Miku speaks up.
Miku: Like I was saying, Y/n will be joining us.
Kanade: They are?
Miku: Yes.
Kanade: Have you guys known about L/n-san before this?
Mizuki: Ena and I have. We go to the same school.
Mafuyu: I’ve known them since middle school.
Kanade’s face flushes a tiny bit as she feels awkward about not knowing you as much as the others.
Kanade: O-Oh...
Y/n: You don’t have to keep calling me L/n-san. You can just call me Y/n.
Kanade: Are you sure?
Y/n: -Nods- Yeah, it’s all fine.
Kanade: Then, I guess you can call me Kanade then.
Time passes by, the six of you talking and hanging out.
Kanade: Y/n, do how do you fare with music?
The rest of the group goes silent, knowing what happened.
Y/n: Uh, I... really don’t do it anymore.
Kanade: Why’s that?
Y/n: I’d rather not discuss it.
Kanade looks at you knowing not to pry in further.
After a while the Mafuyu and Kanade leave the SEKAI, leaving just you, Miku, Ena, and Mizuki.
Mizuki: So Y/n. What do you think about Kanade?
Y/n: Oh, well, she’s nice. I saw that she kept dozing off though. Is she getting sleep?
Ena: Honestly, we’re not quite sure. Maybe not.
Miku: Kanade does sometime stay up all night composing.
Ena: That reminds me, Y/n. You should download Nightcord so we can keep in touch.
Y/n: Oh, you’re right about that. Pretty smart.
Ena and Mizuki leave the SEKAI a little while after, just leaving you and Miku.
Miku: I think I understand why you’re here now.
Y/n: Huh?
Miku: If you are to join, and if there are other SEKAI’s. Then you should find your flame. Rekindle the passion.
Miku looks at you with a piece of desperation in her eyes as she turns away.
Miku: I think you should be going now.
Y/n: Oh, right...
You look at Miku one last time before exiting the SEKAI, ending up back in your room. You look around and take in your familiar surroundings before walking over to your desk and sitting down, turning your pc on.
As it boots on, you download Nightcord on it as you did earlier on your phone. As you look at the sidebar, you see the group name.Nightcord at 25:00.
???: “Umm”
"This is Y/n, right?”
You look at the messages and see the sender is from a user named “K”.
O/n: “Yeah.”
“Who is this?”
K: “It’s Kanade.”
O/n: “Oh.”
“Is there something you need?”
K: “Well, I just want to let you know, I won’t let you give up.”
“I’ll keep composing, even if it’s just to help you out.”
O/n: “Kanade, you really don’t have to.”
K: “I’ll just try my best.”
“No matter what.”
O/n: “Thank you, Kanade.”
You smile as you read her message, yet you can’t help but wonder... Why does she care so much? She barely even knows you and yet, she feels obligated to help you. You turn off your pc before lying down on your bed, drifting to sleep as you keep asking yourself the same question. Why does she care so much?
