Character profiles
Anya Mendeleev, is a Canadian born college student, the first in her family. She is 22 years old and very beautiful. She is very intelligent and brilliant in math and physics, though she also is a writer. Anya was also the victim of bullying and also abuse. Though she would rather forget this part of her life. She had C-PTSD from most of her childhood save for a few good things that happened in life but they are few and far between. Her father was verbally abused by her mother and she wants to break the cycle.
Dimitri Mahmoudov, is a 40 year old Dagestani (this place actually exists in Russia, Dagestan) professor who also holds his fare share of trauma in life. That being said being born in a war zone would be being physically abused will not make life any easier. Though he is gentle soul he still is plagued with nightmares. He is a brilliant mathematician and physics professor.
