An Unexpected Chance
"For one, I am not a war and historical reader. Two, I love the concept! Lastly, his writing is unique if I must say. It’s a bit old school–traditional technique. I love the idea! It’s mind blowing and don’t get me started on the cover. The minute my eyes landed upon the vivid colors and brick bold fonts, I knew that this book would be as interesting as it looks. heartwarming story
"I didn't think that I would like the story; I am more of a fantasy, mystery fan but that simple yet emotionally rewarding story got to me. My favourite part was when he had to pay for the drinks, I see that situation all the time with the older generation. My mother had the same reaction when she was charged £18 for three coffees; six months after that, she was still moaning about it. The book also highlights the harsh reality of old age. The elderly are often very lonely, all their friends have passed. Not to mention that any break up in the family and they run the risk of being cut completely from whatever little family they may have left. Walter loneliness really broke my heart and even though he did reconnect with them, we can't ignore the fact that it would have never happen if he had not been turned into a young man. That book is great but it could do with the help of an editor to bring it to the next level and yet I really enjoyed ready the book. Well done Brandon J Miller, I started this book being down but by the time I got to the end, it had lifted my spirit."
Different and Interesting
"This is very interesting in the way that it is written: more like a movie than a traditional novel. The concept is also an intriguing one. Personally, this is not my type of book, mostly just because I prefer sci fi and fantasy to dramas, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the book. In fact, I can tell it is one that many people will enjoy. Very nicely done. Keep writing!"
Captured my attention....
"One of my favorite things to read about is science and war, but fiction. This is right down my ally, sucking me in right at the first chapter. The plot is quite interesting, but I am wondering, even though the scientists made him young, don't you think he would still have the illness, or did I miss something? Haven't finished the full book yet but definitely putting it on my reading list."
Fun Plot for a Story
"A really interesting idea for a story. Without giving the story away, it makes you wonder what you would do in the same situation. The author does a great job with the imagery, instantly allowing the reader to feel there are there with the characters in the story. You feel that you are there with them and can instantly relate to the characters. This is something that is not easy to do so well. The only issue I have with the story is I wished it was longer. I loved the premise and the characters and wish they would be around longer so we could get to know them better. Hopefully the author will take this idea and turn it into a full-length novel. I would read it for sure."

Great Enjoyment
"I have yet to finish this story but I have become absorbed into it. I find the elements used in a way that I haven't before. The MC is an elderly person, something that isn't usually seen in writing. The events that I have read thus far are dark and grim, as expected out of a man who was once in the army. I plan on making another review when I finish writing but this is a book I would definitely recommend to my followers on Twitter, despite this being relatively short."
Full of Potential.
". I enjoyed reading this. I found the story complying and I would love to watch this movie. I Hope that this is more helpful than anything. I try not to give just glossed over "It was good'' reviews. Also I am just one person. KEEP writing. its good. I can see that this is written in a kind of stylized screenplay. Which gives it a very fast pace. It also makes it very easy to read. I am sure this makes it very popular, However I feel you lose the chances for character development and connection. it creates a distance from the scene and the characters. You have excellent set of scenes and plot points. I think you would gain a great deal of depth and punch if you lose down and instead of telling the reader show the reader. For example.. instead of.. 'it hurt to bend down.' write something like; A grimace twisted his face as creaking and popping noises echoed from his slow bend to the ground.' etc. If the screen play style is intention then obviously you are doing very well., It might be helpful to do some research on the symptoms of liver and lung cancer in the later stages. I worked in the medical field and with military veterans and I found some of the actions and dialogue a little disjointed and inaccurate. For instance, his military service, What war was he active in. If he was in another country, what language were they speaking. Why was his state on his back? What uniform was that? Who was attacking. I realize this is a brief flash back, But for those of us who have served or know about those that do, it is jarring and leaves questions. Air Force does not usually deploy ground troops. There are many resources for this kind of research, It will make the scene far more believable and help with suspension of disbelief. Also the scientists;,why are they so young? Have they used the serum on themselves? It may be helpful to make a timeline for you characters. creating Profiles and bio notes helps keep track of who was where and when they grew up. As well as personality traits and habits. There is A GREAT deal of potential here for some really interesting and in depth characters. A journey of this kind is all about reconnecting to his younger self, rediscover of life and people. So who he is internally is extremely important, as well as who he was and how he changed over time. The wonderful thing about books instead of movies is there is so much MORE inside a book then can ever be put on screen. Don't be afraid to put in the details. It can help the reader visualize and connect. Instead of seeing it on the screen they live it themselves. Hope this helps and please feel free to take a look at my work.
