Summary

A Novel by: reeclipsed No one knew why the prince was so keen on collecting such invaluable objects when he could have been concentrating on his royal duties. Although he was the one to take over the throne after his father, he was too preoccupied with his journeys that he entrusted the very thing that every prince would have ever wanted - the throne - to his older sister. To him, wealth meant nothing if it wasn't holding any good memories, and thus, he had decided to spend the rest of his life living in his dreams. But alas, one thing was missing. He read a book about winged creatures, that were said to watch over delicate humans, and protect them with all their might in their hearts. But that was not what had piqued his interest in the throne. It only had gotten him much more eager to venture up in the sky to at least see a winged creature of humane characteristics and structure. However... - "Y-your majesty." The guards bowed down. "Where were we, Prince Marshall?" The princess smiled and winked at the dumb-founded prince. This was the beginning, of the seventh tale. - Started: August 31, 2020

Chapter 1

Welcome to the story of the sun, the moon, the stars, and the clouds — the Seventh Tale. This book tells you the story of a prince, who was deemed strange and unfit to be king, who, one day, met the princess of all angels on the day he was about to forget all of his hard work and memories forever, as he lost his father and was next-in-line to the throne.

The princess escaped from the heavens, on a mission to find the troubled prince and restore his kingdom back to its flourishing ways. Originally, she wasn’t that sharp in helping out a human so familiarly, seeing that she was only a mere guardian angel that watched over him as he went along his pointless journeys, collecting curios and baubles. However, as time passed by, she finds herself troubled against her will — she was slowly falling in love with the prince as she got to know him personally.

The prince, named Marshall, one day, had found his father in his sleep and found that he had never woken up again. Upon the confirmation of the king passing away, the young prince lost all of his motivation to go about in his travels and redecided to take up the responsibility of becoming the heir to the throne which his father had unexpectedly left for him to take. One day, he took his shabby journal that recorded his travels and was to burn it, to remove all traces of his wrong decisions and selfish choices.

Concealing her identity as the princess of a land called Solace Isles, Sofielle, the angel, begins her story of leaving everything that had ever mattered to her behind, all the responsibilities, and roles. She was ready to face all of the consequences that came with her decision, seeing Marshall make the choice, she was to make hers, with a wish to be free to chase what mattered the most to her —

...which was a forbidden love.

Author’s Notes

Hello and welcome to my first online novel! This story was inspired by one of the stories I made in my childhood, entitled “The Sun, Moon and Stars” which was one of my very first stories I’ve written in my whole life. As of the moment that I’m writing this, I’m having so much fun! The plot, characters, and their stories are really entertaining to write about, so as much as I did in writing it, I hope you will all like this novel!

This novel is also available on my Inkitt profile. You are welcome to visit my page there if you are interested! (Link is in my profile’s “about” section)

Updates will be posted weekly, but due to online classes, I might not be able to update regularly. Please be patient with the updates as I’m trying my best to cope up in school and at the same time, update a story I’ve been writing with my whole heart. Thank you for reading!
