Great plot and unexpected twists
"I really liked the Plot of the Novel, with the suspense, the twists and all the romantic drama i would definitely recommend it to the readers who seek adventure, thrill, or fans of sci fi,The writing style of author makes the plot even better bringing out the best of the concept of time. "
Engaging
"Sci Fi is not my go to genre nor. But at a written standpoint I can appreciate the work that was put into this. The editing thus far has been good, not many [if any] grammar errors were found. The pacing of the story was engaging and the characters therein had unique motives and personality. Which is imparative to me personaly as a reader in order to feel an emotional sense or a reaction. What all readers wants is that 'engagement'. Thus far this work has captured that essence. Great Work."
Sci-fi at its best

The Maelstrom
"An honest review based on where the story is currently at (Chapter 6) The Maelstrom is a captivating story that people should try and read, especially for the ones who like science fiction, because... First, the characters are lively and fun. Their personalities, their actions, and their way of thinking were written well by the author. It doesn't go over the place and is vivid for readers like me. The main character wo is a woman has a strong personality, and I admire that. It's rare to see those in a story these days, or maybe that's just me. Although fun, the author balances their interaction to the world competently by well-thought-out writing. Speaking of writing, the author knows how to play its game. Their writing skills are amazing and are being used wisely. No grammatical errors whatsoever and the author always plan the story concisely and carefully. This is what makes the story so intriguing. The plot is also something to look at. Normally, some people find science fiction stories "boring", because, let's face it, it is "science fiction" after all, this includes me. But as I go on, the writing, the characters, the skill the author gives and portrays are astonishing that makes me want to read the story more. Really captivating! For now, I will give the story a 5 out of 5 stars, and I'll give the plot a rating of 4 stars because, since the story is still at the beginning, the plot is still not "getting there" but rather it's just starting to build itself up. I can't give it 5 stars if the story's not done yet! That's all! Wonderful story! Great idea for a science fiction genre! For a few recommendations or maybe expectations to be considered, I just hope that as the story goes on, it doesn't have any of the clichés most science fiction stories tend to give. I suggest that maybe the author goes pass that and try to add some dazzles in the story that makes it unique than the cliché sci-fi stories nowadays, although, I think the author is aware of this based on my observations of their writing since they plan the chapters very well that it doesn't look bland and boring. That's all. No pressure to the author. I'm just hoping that they know what they are doing for the story and its storyline or plot overall along with the characters' personality. It's their decision. They are writing it with all their love after all! That's what makes this writer so inspiring!"

Interesting read
"Fantastic story, I absolutely love the author's writing style. This story's style is very reminiscent of Phillip Pullman. One concern I have for this story is the plethoric amount of extremely advanced word's that forced me, and I study English lit, to carry a thesaurus with me the entire chapter. As much as I to find learning new words thrilling I am aware that a large quantity of readers do not wish to need a thesaurus or an extremely high vocabulary to understand the descriptive details of this story. Other than that I absolutely adore this book, and I am surprised that this hasn't blown up yet."

"Whoa! Just when I thought I had read / seen time travel books and movies, this story pulled the rug from under my feet! Your characters are amazing. I find I can relate to some of them. "The story is at it's early stage so I won't comment much on the plot. Till 5th chapter I loved the story. I really love the cover of the story. Cover is the first thing that attracts readers if your cover is not up to the mark then even if your story is good it might receive the readers it deserves. Time travel stories is hard to write as you need keep the dates and event in mind. Well you can maintain a book or diary for it. I won't comment much on that topic. Anyways, I loved it! Keep writing!!"
Like stepping into another world
"There are two things I really love about this story: the epigraphs and the scifi tidbits. As a superhero and timetravelling fan, Maelstrom lived up to its title. There are many mysteries waiting to be uncovered in the next chapters. The world is reminiscent of Men in Black and Umbrella Academy. Given that scifi's one of my favorite genres, I'm excited to see the adventures waiting for Cam and the rest of the group (especially Rhys - talk about hot and brooding fictional guys). It's rare to see scifi like these -especially when the self-consistency principle was mentioned - I'd love to hear what would Einstein and Hawking say about it. :)"
Captivating start to a very promising story
"The initial chapters captured my attention immediately. Time travel is a challenging concept to base ones story around. Part of it is because so many books and movies have been made on it, and therefore it becomes very difficult to bring something new to the table. However this story does not seem to beat around those repeated lines and I am looking forward to further additions to the work"

"Right from the beginning I was hooked. The way you describe things is so - perfect, I don't know how else to describe it. Something about your writing completely sucked me in, which doesn't happen often for me. You have a talent for building suspense - I loved the use of the flickering lights in the prologue - that was genius! It totally set the scene, I can imagine every part of this story playing out like a movie in my head. I also found a lot of intrigue with the characters, and I'm excited to learn more about them. Brilliant and Captivating
"The author for sure knows a great deal about capturing the attention of the readers and is very dexterous with her words . There is a perfect amalgamation of mystery , enigma , sarcasm and the plot is amazing! This will surely keep you hooked till the last and you won't regret reading it. "
A New Favourite!
"The summary alone had me hooked. The writing itself is impressive. The author is skilled at pulling readers into their world of imagination. The characters and situations are relatable and realistic. The author is skilled at writing with such detail, I feel as though I am there in the room. The story has a tense vibe to it, but the subtle sarcasm and humour provide the perfect comic relief. Despite only have read the prologue and the first chapter, if I had stumbled upon this book at my local book store or even on my Kindle, I would have indeed added it to my cart. The only thing stopping me from reading further is that there are currently no other chapters available. I definitely plan on following this story to the end and look forward to future writing projects from this author."
The Maelstrom
"Camellia Darrett's peaceful life has been turned upside down due to the absurd decision of her boss, forcing her into a time-traveling mission with an amateur and a not-so-surprisingly annoying team. While Cammie accepts the decision and makes the effort to try to get to know her teammates, she comes across Rhys, the blue-eyed, brooding, and arrogant psychopath. Rhys is a vault of secrets, and Cammie needs a key. Or explosives! As the story progresses, it becomes even harder on Cammie to handle the crazy decisions of her boss and to control her wrath upon Rhys. In "The Maelstrom", Proxion indulges the readers in this chaotic ride that takes surprising twists and ends with an ominous cliffhanger, only keeping me intrigued to read more. There are a few mistakes that can be easily corrected. The main focus in editing should be on dialogue formatting and usage of semicolons, as well as the superfluous usage of tags that makes the dialogue heavy. Personally, I've enjoyed reading these chapters, and I can't wait for the author to wreck havoc and bring Cammie and Rhys closer together. Keep up the good work! :)"
Interesting
"Your writing style is unique, interesting, and intelligent. It is also very technical. I was having a bit of trouble staying engaged with the story. It seems full of unnecessarily ambiguous words that seemed to detract from the tone and engagement of what looks like will be a well crafted and wonderful story. The ending of your chapters are perfect leaving the reader curious for more. You seemed to have found your unique voice in chapter 3. That is what I was searching for throughout your story. Keep writing, I will keep reading. "
