Chapter 1

Emersyn

It's been 5 years since I've been to the states after I left and went to a random town in Ireland. I didn't plan anything out right so I was kinda homeless in the beginning but a nice old couple helped me out and well few years later I'm a owner of a cute corner coffee shop. I make fresh coffee and pastries every morning. I also had my throat surgery done a year ago and now with Therapy I'm fully back to speaking.

I missed my little family in New York and since I couldn't go back I would just think and look through old pictures of my short time there. I heard my door bell chime and looked up to see some twin folks coming in as I just opened "Hello welcome in!" I said proudly "good morning Emmy!" One of them said and I smile and wish everyone a Morning. My cafe was pretty busy in the mornings but by lunches time it's quiets down.

Sometimes I think back about the twins and a shiver runs down my spine as I do. I hated them for everything they did to me. I had nightmares even now, I hope they never find me. As I clean up and get ready to close the shop I heard something behind the shop, I go to look but see nothing.

I quickly jump into my car and drive back home, it was a 20 minute drive from my house to the coffee. When I got home I on the lights and locked the door and windows and made sure my house was secured. Then I relax and fed my orange tabby cat Maxie her food and then made my own.

I felt like I was being watch the whole time, but my therapist said it's all in my mind, they can't find me so don't let them control me. I needed to stay focused and keeps my hopes up that they will never find me. I bathed and got into bed hoping not to have a nightmare of them.
