"This book had a harry potter flair with a unique outlook on evil creatures such as demons, witches, and the like. I had a lot of fun following the main character and her friends as they discover who they are. There were times I felt Kas should have known certain aspects of her world, and at other times she seemed to magically know how her powers worked. This book kept me intrigued, and I love how the friends began opening up to each other in a trusting relationship, which is not typical with evil souls. I also loved that the characters all survived. I find it hard to read books where the author builds characters then destroy them."

"As I was reading this, the main thing that kept popping into my head over and over again was that this book does not belong on Inkitt, it belongs in a bookstore! I enjoyed it immensely; the choice of words brought every scene to life! I loved the characters, even the headmistress (I should explain that I do not like her as a person but as a character). I can't really comment much on grammar and technical writing skills since English is not my first language, but I did not notice any major issues as I was reading your book. Overall, it was very well paced and the way you built tension was both satisfying and genius! I will definitely read the sequel!"

"Wanted to read it all, but only made it halfway through until I couldn't hold back anymore. I really like the story so far. The POV perspective is something I thought I should use in mine as well. It's great and your execution is marvelous! Sometimes, I'm doing something downstairs and just start to think, "Mmh, what will...what if...then?" So to say your story captured my imagination should be most accurate. I really don't like the headmistress though. I want Kasdeya to tell her to shove her punishment, else she starts to think of some for when she will rule. Therefore, I suppose, Charon is a well-written character. :D I don't feel adequate enough to point out anything in your writing skills. Not that I noticed anything so far. I can only read on and learn, and so I will, meanwhile already flirting with Hellfire. Also, are you planning a paperback release? I want it, and I think it'll fit in well on the shelf next to my little wine collection. Best regards, O"

I do like how she's supposed to be all powerful yet people do not already fall at her feet because it, to me, is more unique and allows room for her to grow. I'm really excited to see how the relationship between Gabriel and Kas grows and evolves throughout the story since they already seem to click so well. You're an amazing writer. Humanizing what the average person considers as a monster takes guts, and you have made Mephisto sound very human. it was a bit cheesy at points, but for the most, it seemed to give a well-developed character.
