Blood of Deception
"It took me a while to finish this book, but it was an entertaining read overall. The characters were likeable and the settings were interesting.They had great chemistry and all had something to do with the plot as well, which is very nice because you're not taking up extra space for the sake of word count. There were many spelling errors, but they weren't anything too distracting. I would say the only real issue I found was with the plot. For me, it didn't have that hook in the beginning that makes a reader crave to learn more about the characters and find out what's going to happen next. It felt a little vanilla to me, like the action and drama was there, but it wasn't screaming at you and having a major impact. I would say the easiest way to solve this, is to use dramatic words, but this is all just my opinion and you are a very talented writer either way. Actually, the best way to fix anything is to keep writing to explore your talents and advance them even more because I honestly do like your writing style because it's so quick and straight to the point. You don't dwell on unnecessary details. All in all, this was a good book. The characters and setting made it enjoyable and I would recommend it to a friend :)"

Good Stuff - No Lie
"The writer's passion and care for the characters were very evident! As far as grammar and such, by Inkitt standards the manuscript is pretty clean. Is the Prologue strictly necessary? Setting aside how agents might potentially pass on a manuscript that has one just because it has one...I made a close connection with the MC, then Chapter One has moved on and they aren't even there. Would have preferred to start right with Chapter One and learned about the difficult past naturally, through dialogue and character interaction, personally. The descriptions are excellent - if I had one issue (other than the Prologue) it would be the level of Tell rather than Show in the first few chapters. I wanted to be drawn in, but telling me what's going on rather than showing me through dialogue and character kept me at a distance. Please keep writing!"
Unique Story with Cool Characters
"This was a really interesting read. One aspect that I really loved throughout the book was the relationship dynamics of all the characters. I loved how their parts in the story intertwined throughout the novel as a whole. If you create sidekicks and secondary characters then you should definitely use them and the author does a pretty decent job with doing that. Meiyue is probably my favorite character. Not just because she's a princess but also because she seems to have a good head on her shoulders. Her relationship with Yuzhe is really cute. This may be small, but I really love the fact the author kept mentioning her hair and the weight of it when she let it down. I could totally relate to this physical aspect of the character. The author also did a good job with descriptions and details with the background and with the different characters. I liked the fact that the author didn't dwell on situations or feelings for very long, helping the plot move along at a decent pace. Sometimes, authors get so caught up on details that it takes forever to get through them, causing the reader to become bored rather quickly. I appreciated that the author didn't do this, so, the book held my interest. There were a few grammatical mistakes but nothing too out there. Just the typical stuff like commas, or writing a different word when you mean another one. I do the same thing in my books as well. The good thing was that it wasn't distracting from the book and didn't severely impede the flow of the novel. Overall, I think it was a decent story, and one of the more unique ones I've read."
