"I wholeheartedly recommend Raw to be added to one's reading list as it is a tapestry woven of emotions and insights into the Darkside. The story is so compelling as to keep you engaged from chapter to chapter. The author immediately captures your attention and manages to sustain your interest as he mesmerizes you with the fluid characters of Max, Duke, and Lillian. He unapologetically thrusts you into their mindsets as he moves the story forward as you wait with bated breath to see what next unfolds. Raw is a stupendous work of fiction that rivals that of other prominent writers celebrated as gifted and in time his moment will arrive. After completing the last chapter I'm most impressed with his mastery of storytelling and the continuously rising action around the corner. Fair to say that his writings were hindered by less-than-stellar proofreading but all can be forgiven knowing that he will make those necessary changes to his already consuming fan base."

Reading the summary, gave me goosebumps automatically as I know that the rest of the book will be exciting and thrilling. Just what I need. Beyond Amazed
"First off let me just say WOOOOOW! You better go boy. How you started this story off, made me feel like I was standing in the hallway on the wgite and black checker boarded floor, watching Max and Duke walk pass me as they are carrying on in the story. I love how you describe how different they are, but at the same time how close they are, and omg that LILIAAAANNNN, she might just low key be the star (lol) because she something else (love how outspoken she is). I also love Mr. Borkus's character, you really made him a really cool dude (teacher). I can't wait to purchase your book, and I would definitely recommend it. SN: don't forget to do your grammar checks. Other than that, you did your thing. I love it,"

"Being someone who has recently dipped her toes in the ever-so-curious horror/mystery/thriller genre, I’m pleasantly surprised at this story. Being a romance reader, plot twists happen not very often and they typically aren’t even that twisty. This is great and I’m excited to read more. I’d only say that for those of us in the back of class, you could probably slow down those dramatic scenes a little more, to help the less experienced readers understand what’s happening, and there are some grammatical errors that EVERYBODY makes so don’t stress about that, just do a second look over before publishing the chapter :)"

I adore the way you portrayed the relationship between Max and Duke as well as the people and things in their environment. But I'll suggest heavy editing. For instance, there are lack of commas at certain points and that makes it a little hard to understand a sentence. Once you've edited, you'll have a greater story. I wish you the best, Grant! A great book, but needs some polishing
"Hi! Sorry it took me so long to review your story, I've been really busy with rl stuff lately. However, I have read this story and have gotta say, I really like this! It doesn't shy away from topics that need to be talked about more in society, and the premise is creative and intriguing. However, I do have a few constructive criticisms so I hope you'll excuse me. - The grammar and punctuation have some errors in it. Not a bunch, but enough to make the story kind of clunky, especially in the first few chapters. This could be easily fixed so I don't think I need to focus on it too much. - Some of the dialogue sounds a tad unnatural. The police at the beginning, and a lot of Johnny's lines sound like they were written to fit a mold of a character. That's something that doesn't come easy, but it's super noticeable and can make or break a story. I hope this review helped and I hope you know that this story is really good! I look forward to reading some of your other works! With some polishing this story could easily become a fan favorite!"
An Okay Read
"I will be completely honest, the grammatical errors and spelling mistakes really makes this difficult to read. Also I think it would be able to discern whether someone is speaking kutloud or thinking by using italics because I've had to reread a few parts due to lack of clarification. The descriptions were great as far as settings and characters physical descriptions go. In the beginning it was really hard to sympathize with any character even the main. I'll be hoenst I haven't read that far, but what I have read was an okay read and I think once it's revised it'll be a great read. "
