Koi Boy

In the water of blue, the ripples of time,

The boy laid there and thought.

“These ripples of time, they did fail me-

For why am I in hate of the future to be?”

Against the current he did think, thinking and thinking until the thought appeased,

The day he could swim upstream.

However he saw it, koi boy did thought-

His past failures he could never believe,

His forbidden love of the boy upstream,

Holding his hands and expressing his dreams-

He could never have him, he screamed,

Because koi boy was too weak and drowned in the stream.
