Finding Paradise in Hell
"Isabel just survived a tsunami in which she lost her husband and had a miscarriage. She meets the leader of the just ravished country and he has the worry and concerns of his people weighing on his shoulders. This is a beautiful story of finding love in these circumstances. I found this was a very wholesome story I enjoyed. The plot was great. The writing style was perfect and there were no technical mistakes I noticed. Overall, amazing story! Would recommend this to anyone!"
A Rose can Grow in the Harshness of Hell
"The Tsunami creates horrible damage to the Dalian country side. The drowned bodies stack up quickly and there is destruction and despair as far as the eye can see. But this does not destroy the spirit of Zachariah the leader and president of Dalia. He physically helps his people, with the removal of debris and offering personal words of encouragement, despite the disapproval of his officials. They believe that mixing with the common folk is not Zachariah’s place as their official leader. It is during one of his rescue missions that he discovers a beautiful but broken woman named Isabelle. She is pregnant and despondent just having witnessed the death of her husband and prematurely born daughter. Yet Zachariah is touched by her inner strength. He realizes Isabelle will survive even if she is too blinded by the horror of her circumstances to understand this yet. Zachariah also realizes it’s too early to hope, but perhaps eventually Isabelle will be able to move beyond her past, and see the true love he has for her. A unique story about an unusual love affair. Funny how the leader of a country can be more exotic then a werewolf, but there you have it. Maybe because there are so many werewolf love stories out there, but few involving real people. I enjoyed learning about Zachariah and Isabelle. (Especially Isabelle who has more depth and character then your average female love interest.) A good read if you want to remember how realistic romance works. "

"I can't fault it. The story is amazing so far, you feel for the two characters loss with the aftereffects of the Tsunami, but you can already see the chemistry slowly building between them. I liked your use of a flashback in chapter three, it wasn't too long, but it did help explain the relationship between Isabelle and her husband. Keep up the great work! Sofia"

"The story is very well written so far. The details are captivating and the development of each characters histories is wonderful. The only thing that I was a not 100% sold on was how fast Isabelle moved on from her husband, daughter, and baby. I personally feel like she should be going through the ups and downs of loosing them before flirting with Zachariah. But that is just my opinion :) Otherwise, this is a great story so far! Keep it up!"
This novel had me in my feels
"First I want to say the details of the story are amazing. I love stories with detail and this story had a lot of it. And from the emotions I got from the characters really had me in my feels. The author does a great job at capturing her characters emotions. You can tell how well she knows her characters. I love the interaction with Zach and Belle and how he is there for her and how she’s able to lean on him during her darkest time. It should be interesting to see how they become even closer with each other throughout the novel. Words to the author. Your story is amazing and you have a way of capturing your readers into your story and getting them to latch to your characters. I wish you the best with your story and hope to see amazing things from this novel. "

"I really enjoyed reading these first 9 chapters. The plot and characters are great, I can’t wait for more updates. The only thing confusing was that there wasn’t much information on how the main character, Zach, was made aware that someone is after Isabelle. If feels like watching a movie and some scenes are missing. Overall, great work!"
A story with potential
"I rated this story overall with four stars out of five because there are many things you can improve. As your first book -is very good, but try not to rush it and be careful with the flow of the actions and events. The writing style can be improved as well, try to reduce the "-ing" and some repetition, like the v neck line, which appears too much. You could add a better description of the characters' internal struggles, so the reader could understand them better.. Remember always that i can understand only what you write, not what you picture. Gestures are important, many times a simple one can tell a lot about a character. I hope this helps, as we learn and grow as writers- our fictional worlds grow with us. Nevertheless, I would recommend your story and I enjoyed reading it. Keep up the good work !"
